Business Development Representative: Works to improve United Piping Inc.’s market position and achieve customer growth.  Builds and maintains key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.  The Business Development Representative’s job is to work with the Business Development Manager, Project Managers, and Senior Leadership to increase sales opportunities for United Piping Inc. To achieve this, they need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. The Business Development Representative will also help manage existing clients and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered. Job Description The primary role of the Business Development Representative is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then work to market UPI’s services to influence clients to do business with the company. They must develop a rapport with new clients, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Business Development Representatives work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.
