Pipeline Safety & Environment

Pipeline safety is of utmost important at United Piping Inc. When you look at our numbers, you’ll see that.

At United Piping, Inc., it is a moral obligation to provide each and every employee a safe place to work. Having said that, our work in the field is hazardous and we must ensure that everyone has the proper training and skills to carry out their task – and that’s exactly what we do! Also, as a general contractor for the oil and gas pipeline industry, we understand the utmost importance of environmental stewardship when it comes to every job we take on. This message is ingrained in our three pillars of success:

  1. Safety/Environment
  2. Quality
  3. Schedule

UPI employees are highly trained and experienced in ALL applicable safety and environmental regulations to ensure pipeline safety and environmental safety. We do our best to minimize our environmental impact and maximize personal safety. UPI does not tolerate any drug or alcohol use on the job and have employed a drug and alcohol testing program that is certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).

With over 1,000,000 safe man-hours in 2012 and 2013 and a current (for 2014) Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) of 0.73, we are proud of our successes and show the commitment to our employees and clients in maintaining a safe and reliable work environment.

Our clients can be confident that their projects will be completed in the safest and most environmentally friendly manner possible.
